Knitting
Current projects are :
- A sweater (just a basic raglan with my fav Manos Del Uruguay yarn)
- An arm sleeve since my arms get really cold in the winter (also Manos Del Uruguay yarn)
- A blanket I call The Beast. (i have tried to make it twice before but both times the yarn I was using got dicountinued)
- A second blanket. this one is a patch work of Blue Pink White and Black rectangles whith the center being an Intarsia cable pattern useing all the colors
This time for the beast I have bought all the yarn and used Lion Brand : Pound of Love yarn since buying 8000 yards of yarn would be way too expensive otherwise 😅
The second blanket was started all the way back in 2018 and was one of the first things i ever knitted. its still on the needles cause Intarsia cable work is the bane of my existence, and picking that as a second ever project was insane. I originally wanted it to be a scarf but have since decided theres no way i would ever finish that, and decided colored blocks joined together for a blanket with this pattern in the middle would be far more manageable
Crochet
Current projects are :
- A blanket made with Lion Brand : Feels Like Butta yarn
- A granny square blanket made with Ice Brand yarn
- Another granny square blanket made with Peaches & Cream yarn
- A third granny square blanket made with some leftover yarn from a hexigon cardigan i made
- A scrap blanket made with all my leftover yarns that i don't have enough of to make a project with
- A hexigon cardigan
Making blankets with crochet is easily one of my favorite things to do! I have made lots of other stuff with crochet (sweaters, cardigans, bags, even reusable swiffer pads) but i always find my self gravitating back to blankets 💚
Sewing
Current projects are :
- Just mending a few shirts + one skirt
- Repairing a childhood pillow that lost a fight with my dog 😑
Not much to say on the sewing front. the pillow im using new fabric to reinforce the old fabric and am embroidering on it as well to both make it more decorative and to make sure the old fabric never rips out of the new stitching
